TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT POSITION!! Our client, a clothing manufacturer based in Ludlow, requires a Trainee Operator. Long term opportunities are available, and the role offers the possibility of a permanent position following a successful trial period. Overtime is available.
Responsibilities of the Trainee Operator:
- You will be trained on all embroidery machinery and shown how to embroider products to a high standard.
- You must be neat and demonstrate dexterity at all times.
- You will be required to package items into boxes, ready for dispatch, ensuring items are labelled correctly.
- Ensuring the immediate work environment is clean and tidy.
Requirements of the Trainee Operator:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have high attention to detail and dexterity, ensuring items are produced efficiently to the highest standard before packaging.
- Focused, organised and able to follow processes carefully.
- Basic computer literacy (the company operates a paperless system).
Pay rate & Hours:
This role requires rotational shift work (Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week):
- Week 1: 6am - 2pm
- Week 2: 2pm - 10.30pm (finishing at 8pm on Friday)
£13.50 per hour
