We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join our client. This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, van driving, and forklift truck duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse while ensuring timely and professional deliveries and collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Completing local deliveries and collections using a company van
- Operating Forklift Trucks (Counterbalance and/or Reach) as required
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory control
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
