The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing and warehouse operation based in Chessington. This is a 12 week temporary to permanent role offering stable weekday hours, excellent benefits, and full training across a range of machinery and warehouse functions.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00, 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Pay: £13.00 per hour. After 12 weeks your pay will rise to £14.01 per hour.
Overtime: Paid at time and a half (£19.50 per hour). After 12 weeks (£21.01 per hour).

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating warehouse and manufacturing equipment including bandsaws, L-Sealers, and CNC machines.
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch.
- Assisting with goods inwards and stock movement.
- Operating FLT equipment where required and acting as a banksman.
- Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- FLT experience is desirable, though training can be provided.
- Comfortable working with machinery following full training.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
