Looking to build a long-term career in logistics? We are hiring Driver's Mates in Gloucester on a temp-to-perm basis.
Pay: £12.71 per hour while temporary, £30,000 salary upon going permanent
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with delivery of kegs, casks, cases & palletised goods
- Safe loading/unloading using equipment (sack trucks, tail lifts, etc.)
- Supporting drivers with routes, paperwork & customer service
- Checking stock and reporting damages/shortages
- Following all health & safety procedures
What we're looking for:
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Good communication & customer service skills
- Physically fit for manual handling
Progression Opportunity:
Opportunity to progress into HGV Class 1 training. Successful candidates with a full UK driving licence may be offered HGV Class 1 training through an internal driver programme (subject to performance & business needs).
