The Best Connection are recruiting for a Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner on behalf of our client based in Aintree. The role includes the following:

  • Select appropriate wood types and materials, and prepare them according to detailed specifications.
  • Craft bespoke cabinets, furniture and architectural features tailored to ecclesiastical and luxury home environments.
  • Execute precise joinery techniques including dovetailing, mortise and tenon and other traditional woodworking joints.
  • Operate hand tools such as chisels and saws.
  • Operate power tools such as sanders, routers, and drills.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all work meets design specifications and craftsmanship standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics and cutting lists with precision.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow joiners, carpenters and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven relevant experience or apprenticeships.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools with strong joinery knowledge.
  • High standards of precision and craftsmanship.
  • Capable of resolving fabrication issues efficiently.

The working hours are 08:30 - 16:30, Mon - Fri. We have immediate starts available following a successful interview!
