The Best Connection has been instructed on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our client's team at their successful site in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This is a full-time, customer-facing role where you will work directly with a large and diverse customer base in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with walk-in enquiries on a regular basis.
  • Answer, field and resolve customer queries over the phone and socials.
  • Regularly market/advertise new and existing products online through social media channels.
  • Ensure that customers feel welcome and have an excellent customer experience through any communication channel.
  • Handle transactions which may be Cash or Card payments.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth daily running of the shop.
  • Creating and organising jewellery window displays in store.

Candidate Requirements

  • Have previous experience within a customer-facing role is desirable; however, previous experience within a customer service role within telecommunications as a minimum is essential.
  • Have an active interest in jewellery personally or previous job roles (skills to value jewellery will be taught).
  • Ability to converse with a diverse customer base seamlessly.
  • Be technology literate and have experience using social media (personal or business).
  • Show confidence and accuracy with cash handling.
  • Show the ability to integrate into a small team environment but also be able to make independent decisions when required.
