Job description:
The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well respected client based in the Leicester area.
We\βre looking a HGV Class 2 Driver with ADR qualification (2 in packages) to complement their operation working approx. 45 hours per week, Monday β Friday, with start time of 07:00.
Delivering gas canisters to business and private addresses across the Leicestershire area, drivers will need a level of physical fitness as they will be expected to off load bottles.
This is a long-term vacancy with a view to go permanent with a salary of Β£42k

- Β£17.50
- Shift start is 07:00am
- Monday to Friday
- Average shifts are 9 hours per day
Qualifications
- A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A valid ADR qualification Card
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver
- Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues
- Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
- Use GPS or maps to find the best routes
- Load and unload items carefully to avoid damage
- Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct address
- Communicate politely with customers
- Report delays, accidents, or problems to your manager
