About the Role

We are recruiting for Manufacturing Operatives to join a busy and expanding cladding manufacturer in the Chorley area. This is an excellent long-term opportunity with full training provided and genuine prospects for a permanent role.

As part of the production team, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by using a variety of hand and power tools, working to specifications, and ensuring products are cut, built, and prepared correctly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using hand and power tools including industrial saws and drills
  • Cutting materials to specific measurements
  • Framing, stacking and general assembly tasks
  • Reading and understanding production paperwork
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Working as part of a team to meet production targets

Working Environment

This is a physically demanding position within a dusty, wet and cold manufacturing environment. It would suit someone who is looking to develop their hands-on manufacturing skills and enjoys practical, active work.
