The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an ongoing Class 2 HGV Driver position based in Leigh, working on behalf of one of our clients. This is a great opportunity to gain further Class 2 HGV driving experience in a general haulage environment, carrying out multi-drop pallet deliveries.

The Role

  • Monday to Friday - no weekend work
  • Multi-drop pallet deliveries
  • General haulage work
  • Start times from approximately 07:00
  • Typical working days are expected to be around 10-12 hours
  • Estimated finish time around 18:30, although hours can vary
  • Deliveries may be unloaded using an electric pump truck or FLT, depending on the site
  • Professional and customer-focused approach required

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (C+E/C) driving licence
  • Clean driving licence
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential
  • Valid and up-to-date Driver CPC
  • Valid Digital Tachograph (Tacho) Card
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable and punctual
