We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced C+E Driver to join our transport and logistics operation based in Leicester. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of airfreight across local, regional, and occasionally nationwide routes. You will be a crucial component to the success of the airport operations. Whether you are looking for ongoing work or a permanent position, we have flexible opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport airfreight goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
  • Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts.
  • Handle time-sensitive materials for pick-up, transit, and delivery.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and delivery logs.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with transport planners and depot staff.

Regulatory Requirements

  • Apply for a Criminal Record Check.
  • Have a full 5‑year checkable history.
  • Have an in‑date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc).
  • Provide a full 5‑year address history.
  • Attend an Aviation Security Course.

Other Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  • Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • 2‑year driving experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • No more than 3 penalty points (no DR/DD convictions).
