- Overtime paid at £17.88 per hour (after 45 hours worked)
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 - 16:30
- 45 hours per week
Important
This role is primarily based outdoors, so applicants must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an Unskilled Labourer / Recycling Operative to join a busy recycling yard. This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced environment where both members of the public and commercial customers visit to unload recyclable materials and scrap.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with the safe unloading of recyclable materials and scrap.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
- Sorting and consolidating recyclable materials and yard debris.
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Carrying out a variety of general yard duties to support the daily operation of the business.
- Working as part of a team to ensure the site runs efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and hardworking individuals.
- Comfortable undertaking physical work and working outdoors.
- Good awareness of health and safety.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where required.
- Previous yard, recycling, labouring or industrial experience is beneficial but not essential.
