- Start times between 06:00-14:00 or 07:00-15:00
About the Role
The Best Connection is recruiting a Class 2 Driver position based in Leeds, primarily involving trunking between two warehouse locations situated less than a mile apart. This role is ideal for drivers seeking regular work with minimal long-distance driving.
Duties will include:
- Trunking between warehouse locations
- Driving Class 2 vehicles as part of the client's transport operation
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Pay Rates
- £14.01 per hour
- Overtime after 39 hours: £21.02 per hour
- Sunday overtime after 39 hours: £28.02 per hour

Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Complete deliveries safely and professionally
- Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading where required
- Maintain a high standard of customer service
- Report any vehicle defects or issues promptly
