Job Opportunity: Temporary Production Operatives – Morecambe & Lancaster
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Locations: Morecambe & Lancaster
Shifts: Candidates must be flexible to work both shifts:
- Morning Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00-14:30
- Friday: 06:00-11:30
- Afternoon Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 14:30-23:00
- Friday: 11:30-17:00
We\’re currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team, with the potential for permanent employment. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and looking to grow within a supportive environment.
Job Description:
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the production line. Duties include:
- Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assembling, packing, and labelling products to meet quality standards
- Conducting visual quality checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your workstation
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work both shifts and at both sites (Morecambe & Lancaster)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English to follow Health & Safety and workplace policies
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is an advantage but not essential
