The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of our well-known client based in Knowsley.
Job Details
- Permanent Position
- Monday to Friday 07:00 AM Starts
- £17.00 per hour PAYE - HOLIDAYS PAID SEPARATE
- Holiday pay accrued separately
- Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
- No weekend working
Duties
- Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle
- Using a hook attachment with remote-control operation
- Moving and transporting various materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Movement of Containers/Shipping parts/Recycled metal/Other industrial materials
- Conducting daily vehicle and HIAB equipment checks
- Ensuring compliance with all health & safety and transport regulations
- Providing excellent customer service while representing the company professionally
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- HIAB Hook licence/certification
- Previous hook experience with remote control operation is essential
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
- Good knowledge of the local area
