The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Class 1 Day (C+E) Drivers on behalf of our well-established national client based in Knowsley, L33.
Overview
Class 1 Day (C+E) Driver role based in Knowsley, servicing national client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monday to Friday
- 0600 start times
- £16.50 per hour PAYE (holiday pay accrued separately)
- Guaranteed 9.6 hours per shift (48 hours per week)
- Overtime paid after 48 hours
- Ongoing work available all year round
Duties
- Delivering kegs to distribution centres
- Trunking work
- Curtain-sider work (no handball required)
- Professional and efficient trunking and delivery work
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
