Job Description
The Best Connection are looking for a reliable and hardworking Jet Wash Operative to join their clients team during their busiest time. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate - ideal for someone who is passionate about the agricultural sector and wants to become part of a long-term, supportive team. There are immediate starts and long term opportunities for the right Jet Wash Operatives.
You may already have some seasonal farming experience and now be looking to take the next step by joining a well-established team during our busy period. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning agricultural buildings, equipment, and machinery using high-pressure jet washers. This is a hands-on and physically active role that is essential to maintaining high standards of hygiene and biosecurity across the farm.
The role; Operate high-pressure jet washing equipment to clean livestock housing, yards, and machinery Prepare cleaning areas by removing waste and setting up equipment Ensure all areas are cleaned to farm and industry hygiene standards Follow all biosecurity and safety protocols at all times Assist with other general farm duties as required Maintain tools and equipment in good working order The candidate: Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn Strong team player; able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Hold a valid UK driving license Hours Pay Rates: £12.80ph Increasing to £13.30ph after 12 weeks Further incentive when made permanent to £14.30ph 06:00am start time on yard and daily working hours are 8-12 hours Alternative Saturdays are rotated Benefits of working for The Best Connection include: Ongoing assignments Holiday accrual Pension provision Personal accident insurance On-line payslips Access to 'Perks at Work' temporary worker benefit scheme Candidates will be invited to register online via our digital onboard system
