The Best Connection are delighted to be recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive on behalf of our prestigious and well-established client based in West Bromwich.
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £29,000 per annum + Company Bonus Scheme
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm | Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders and monitoring their progress through to dispatch.
- Using CRM and ERP systems (currently Salesforce and Infor) to manage orders, inventory checks, customer interactions, credits, and debits.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, external sales teams, and transport providers.
- Responding to customer enquiries regarding stock availability, pricing, discounts, and providing first-line technical support where appropriate.
- Proactively contacting customers to generate sales opportunities, including re-engaging inactive accounts and promoting current offers.
- Preparing and issuing customer quotations.
- Supporting the external sales team with account information, quotations, and customer updates.
- Organising transport arrangements for non-standard deliveries.
- Monitoring deliveries and resolving any issues efficiently, escalating where necessary.
- Liaising with internal departments regarding manufacturing, assembly, and product-related queries.
- Providing administrative support to the wider UK team.
- Undertaking additional duties as required to support business operations.
Candidate Requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications).
- Strong IT skills, including intermediate-level Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Infor (desirable).
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- The ability to build rapport and develop strong customer relationships.
- Previous office administration experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile.
