We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Field-Based Buyer to join our team in Immingham. This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse duties with field-based purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Grading and identifying catalytic converters within the warehouse
- Supporting purchasing activities outside of the warehouse
- Carrying out production duties once trained, including:
- Material grading
- Material buying
- Material containment and packaging
- Forklift operations
- Loading, unloading, and storage of materials
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Report any accidents or near misses
- Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments
- Proper use and management of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follow all company procedures and safe working practices
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Positive attitude with good timekeeping
- Strong team player
- Knowledge of manual handling and safe working practices
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- Good level of spoken and written English
