General Assembly Operative
We are currently recruiting for a General Assembly Operative to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing environment, producing high-quality tables and furniture for the education and hospitality sectors.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, has good attention to detail and is comfortable using power tools to assemble products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembling tables, chairs and other furniture using power tools.
- Following instructions and assembly specifications to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products.
- Handling materials and components safely.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
Working Hours - Choose from:
- Monday to Thursday, 07:00-17:00.
- Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or a warehouse environment would be beneficial.
- Comfortable using power tools and hand tools.
- Good attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a potentially noisy environment.
- Safety boots are essential.
