Van Driver / Labourer - Hyde
Temp to Perm Opportunity
Our client based in Hyde is looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Van Driver / Labourer on a temporary to permanent basis.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Thursday: 07:45am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 07:45am - 10:45am
Pay Rate
- £12.80 per hour
- Increases to £14.00 per hour upon successful completion of the probationary period and permanent transfer.
The Role
This is a hands-on position combining van driving and general labouring duties. Approximately 20% of the role involves local deliveries, with the majority of the work carried out within the warehouse and production environment.
Daily duties include:
- Local van deliveries
- Manual loading and unloading
- Machine operating and machine minding
- Shrink wrapping products
- Using hand tools
- General housekeeping duties
- Supporting warehouse and production operations as required
This is a physically demanding role where you will be on your feet throughout the shift.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous warehouse, production, or shop floor experience
- Strong and stable recent work history
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Looking for a long-term permanent opportunity
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required
