Warehouse & Delivery Operative
Hinckley (LE10) £12.97 per hour Full-Time | Monday to Friday Temp to Perm (12 Weeks)
The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking and rapidly growing company based in Hinckley. We are looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse & Delivery Operatives to join a busy, friendly team where hard work is recognised and rewarded.

Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly)
Week 1
- 6:00am - 3:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Two paid tea breaks
Week 2
- Monday to Thursday: 1:00pm - 10:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Two paid tea breaks

The Role
As a Warehouse & Delivery Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse operation by:
- Picking, packing, and preparing materials for installation teams
- Supporting Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control processes
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational goals
- Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Driving company vehicles when required
About You
We're looking for candidates who:
- Have previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience (preferred)
- Are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Possess basic IT skills
- Have forklift experience (advantageous but not essential)
Essential Requirements
Due to the client's motor insurance policy, applicants must:
- Be aged 21 or over
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have no more than 3 penalty points
