PART TIME ROLE. IMMEDIATE START. We are currently recruiting a Sales & Purchasing Assistant for our client in Huntingdon. Shifts available are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 12:00pm. Online application process so you can register from home.

Duties will include:

  • Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Preparing quotations, sales confirmations, and delivery documentation
  • Coordinating with customers regarding order status, deliveries, and product availability
  • Raising and processing purchase orders with suppliers
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory coordination
  • Matching purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices
  • Preparing and issuing customer invoices
  • Assisting with supplier invoice processing and basic accounts support
  • Maintaining accurate filing systems and office documentation
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
  • Providing general administrative and office support
  • Managing office supplies and stationery orders
  • Supporting general reception and office coordination duties

Experience required:

  • Previous experience in sales administration, purchasing, or office administration preferred
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using accounting, ERP, or order processing systems is advantageous but not essential

Pay rates: £15.26 per hour
