We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a small, friendly, and supportive team within a busy food manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in their work and is happy to get involved in all areas of the factory to support the team.
The Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards. This is not just a machine operating role - we're looking for someone who is willing to support all aspects of the operation when needed, including production, dispatch, and factory clean-downs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Setting up and adjusting equipment as required
- Carrying out quality checks and recording production data
- Assisting with packing and dispatch activities
- Supporting factory clean-downs and maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure production targets are met
- Following all health and safety procedures
