We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Terminal Cleaners to join the HEX cleaning team at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK's busiest transport hubs, helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for passengers, staff, and visitors.
As a HEX Terminal Cleaner, you will play a key role in ensuring underground station areas and surrounding terminal facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times. This position involves working within a fast-paced, high-footfall environment where attention to detail and a proactive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and maintaining airport underground station platforms, waiting areas, escalators, lifts, and public walkways
- Cleaning and sanitising public toilets, staff facilities, and touchpoint areas
- Carrying out routine cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and hand towels
- Responding promptly to spillages and ensuring hazards are dealt with safely and efficiently
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly and in line with health and safety regulations
- Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to supervisors
- Working as part of a team to ensure all cleaning schedules and standards are consistently achieved
- Must be able to pass a 5-year vetting process and DBS check
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Comfortable working night shifts in a busy airport environment
- 4 on / 4 off rota
- Nights: 22:00 - 06:00
