The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting multiple Landscape Operatives for our well-established client, who provide landscape maintenance and soft landscaping services to local authorities across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, and Kent, serving commercial, public, and private sectors.

Location: Horsham

Industry: Agriculture

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: £13 to £13.50 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities of Landscape Operative:

  • Carry out general grounds maintenance including weeding, hedge cutting, pruning, and leaf clearance
  • Undertake turfing, seeding, planting, and other soft landscaping duties
  • Ensure all sites are maintained to a high standard, clean, and presentable
  • Complete drain cleaning and graffiti removal where required
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements of Landscape Operative:

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping is desirable
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Full UK driving licence is advantageous
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
