Are you hardworking, reliable, and ready for a physically demanding role? We are currently recruiting for a Senior Warehouse Assistant for our client, offering a temporary role with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities as a Senior Warehouse Assistant:

  • Assemble, pick, pack, and dispatch goods accurately and efficiently.
  • Check and inspect incoming goods, ensuring the correct quantity, type, and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a tidy, organised, and methodical warehouse and stores area.
  • Keep records up to date using Asset Panda (Asset Management System).
  • Liaise with Campaign Managers, Field Support Managers, suppliers, and transport companies to coordinate operational requirements.
  • Contact couriers and arrange the dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Load and unload company and third-party vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Organise stock for picking and packing activities and accurately update stock systems.
  • Record pallet and racking movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Produce delivery notes and consignment labels using supplier and courier portals.
  • Operate company vehicles when required.
  • Provide cover for the Team Leader during periods of absence.
  • Support the Team Leader with training and developing junior members of the team.

Requirements of a Senior Warehouse Assistant:

  • Support a safe, clean, and compliant working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Own transport is required.
