Our client is looking for experienced and reliable Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are confident operating Class 2 vehicles and are looking for ongoing, stable work within a professional environment.
Pay rate: £16.50 per hour
Hours: 05:45 - 16:00/16:30
Role Responsibilities:
- Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
- Delivering construction materials and equipment to sites and customers
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy at all times
- Ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and on time
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records
- Following all health & safety and transport regulations
- Representing the company in a professional manner when dealing with customers and site staff
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving Class 2 trucks is essential
- Good understanding of driver's hours and working time regulations
- Confident driving in busy areas and construction environments
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
This role would suit someone with strong Class 2 driving experience who is comfortable working within the construction industry and can work well independently while maintaining high safety standards.
