CLASS 2 DUSTCART DRIVER REQUIRED IN HAYES. Newly Qualified Drivers Welcome! The Best Connection, Staines, is urgently recruiting Class 2 HGV Refuse Drivers for a leading commercial waste company based in Hayes. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced drivers and newly qualified HGV2 drivers looking to gain valuable experience, with the potential to move onto a full-time contract after a successful trial period.
Pay Rates
- £17.06 per hour - Monday - Friday.
- £34.11 per hour - Overtime after 45hrs.
Shift Details
- AM starts - 04:00
- Minimum 9 hours paid per shift
- Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive a HGV2 Dustcart on designated routes, collecting waste and recycling.
- Will also be required to drive Dustcarts when required.
- Assist with loading when required.
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts.
- Complete all required paperwork and report any safety concerns.
- Work closely with dispatch to ensure routes are completed efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 HGV Licence
- Driver CPC & Digi Card
- Refuse driving experience (desirable but not essential)
