HGV Driver in Newcastle, Staffordshire

We are currently looking to recruit temporary to permanent class 1 HGV drivers for our growing client based in Stoke-On-Trent.

The job will involve deliveringagricultural supplies to customers sitespredominately in Wales. You will be required to make safe and timely delivery of products directly to customer sites, specifically to farms and agricultural locations. An average day will consist of 3 deliveriesdriving a tipper or Blower vehicle.Previous experience in these vehicles would be an advantage however not essential as full training will be provided.

Typical start time is 5am and days of work will be between Monday – Saturday on a rolling 3-week rota:

1. Week 1: Wednesday – Saturday
2. Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
3. Week 3: Monday – Thursday

This is a long term full time on a temporary to permanent basis. Immediate starts available.

Hourly rate is £16.02 with over time paid at £24.03 for hours worked after 44 hours.

A full assessment will be required prior to starting. 6 months experience driving a Class 1 vehicle is required.
