Overview
The Best Connection have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Class 2 driver based around the Dartford area.
Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will have a crucial role in delivering steel products to warehouses and company sites. Drops can vary on a daily basis. Strapping & chaining experience is essential for this role.
Hours of work
- 05:30am starts, The client operates a 5-day working week not including weekends, working 8-10 hour days.
Pay Rate
- £18 per hour PAYE.
Duties
- Delivery of steel products to warehouses
- Driving Class C Lorry
- Deliver to areas in SE, London and Kent
- Daily vehicle checks to ensure that vehicle is safe to drive
To be eligible for this position:
- Category C+E Licence with a maximum of 6 points
- Minimum 1 years of previous commercial driving experience
- London driving experience
- Must have strapping and chaining experience
- Customer facing skills
