£16.00 per hour, £24.00 OT after 10 hours per shift. Hours 50 per week (min 10 per shift).
Our client is a specialist bridge maintenance company operating across the whole of the UK for Highways England, Transport Scotland, main contractors and local authorities on the motorway, trunk road and road networks. They carry out maintenance and repairs to bridges and other highway structures which include installing bridge expansion joints, bridge deck waterproofing, bridge bearings and concrete repairs.
We are looking for people to join their Maintenance team, covering work predominantly in the Yorkshire area; however, due to the fluctuating nature of our work, you may be required to work away a couple of nights a week (night out allowance paid).
Duties include working as part of a team of between 2 and 4 persons and, due to the nature of working on roads, involves working both day and night (mainly nights) shift patterns (Mon-Fri) across the UK. Overtime for weekends is regularly available subject to stand-down where required. The work may involve the use of machinery, specialist plant and equipment and working with hazardous/hot materials.
Experience in highway maintenance with CSCS card and any plant/machinery experience or tickets would be an advantage.
