are currently recruiting for 4 Class 2 HGV Drivers to secure a temp to permanent position in the Dudley area.

The successful candidate will require a current and valid Class 2 HGV License and must have HGV Class 2 driving experience.

The hourly pay rate for this position is £14.00 per hour, with overtime paid after 8 hours at £21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 HGV Driver

• Operate a Class 2 HGV curtain-sided vehicle for local and national deliveries of timber products.
• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle in accordance with company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and follow all job directives precisely. Interact with dispatchers and others daily to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain adherence to required productivity standards to ensure all customers are serviced efficiently.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class 2 HGV Driver

• Class 2 Driver (HGV)
• Must have a clean license with up to 3 points for minor offences.
• Verifiable references.
• Valid CPC card and digital Tachograph card.
