HGV Class 2 Day Driver in Middlesbrough

The Best Connection are working closely in partnership with our client to source additionalHGVClass 2 / LGV C Licence Driversto work from their Middlesbrough depot.

The role:

• Safe operation of a Class 2vehicle
• Use of a delivery App (training given)
• Involves heavy lifting
• The work is multi-drop of around 10 – 20 deliveries per day across the country
• Deliveries to business and domestic customers

The candidate:

• \”C\” licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
• In date CPC and DIGI Card
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Experience with manual handling bulky loads
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be willing to complete a DBS check

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday (weekend over time as required)
• 06.00am to 17.00pm (delivery dependant)

Pay Rates:

• £14.75 per hour (PAYE) for first 5 shifts per week (Plus Holiday accrual)
• £21.12 after 5 shifts per week
