CLASS 2 NIGHT DRIVER - NURSLING The Best Connection is currently recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers for an established food distribution client based in Nursling. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. Salary - £18.50 / £20.50 per hour Location - Nursling, Southampton Start time - Early AM Details of the role: - Working on a temp to perm contract, Subject to passing trail period you will become a permanent member of staff - The shifts are early AM start between 01:00am-02:00am, average working shift is 8-10 hrs - This role is working on a 28-week rolling rota, working 4 days on and 2 days off - Paying between £18.50-£20.50 per hour with an 8 hour minimum shift - Overtime paid on weekends and bank holidays - You will be delivering Bread to a variety of customers around the SO area - All products are stacked in cages and offloaded via tail lift into the supermarket delivery area - New passes welcome, with 3-6 months class 2 commercial driving experience - Drivers must have good communication skills and be willing be to be flexible with finish times - Vehicle checks before and after each shift Requirements/Benefits: - Full Cat C Licence - Valid CPC & Digi Card - Class 2 experience driving rigid vehicles - On-site parking - Ongoing work - Good numeracy & literacy skills - Reliable and professional attitude If you are interested in this role, please apply today or contact Miles on (phone number removed) The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
