Overview
Our Hatfield-based client manages secure deliveries to prisons across the UK and is looking for HGV Class 2 drivers to join their team. Immediate start available and permanent position available for right candidate after completing the probation period. DBS will be carried out as well.
HGV Class 2 Main duties
- Manage delivery from depot to prison site
- 1-5 drops per day depending on the area of delivery
- Ensure your load is safe and secure at all times
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintain professional conduct representing the company
- Manual handling
HGV Class 2 Shifts
- Start times may vary each day between 5am-7am
- Monday to Friday
HGV Class 2 Pay Rates
- Pay rate £16.18PAYE for first 45hours worked Monday to Friday
- Pay rate £24.27 PAYE forMonday to Friday after 45 hoursand all hoursworked on Saturday
- Guaranteed minimum 9 hours paid per day
- 45 minute paid break
