Working on a Monday to Friday basis, starts available are between 01:00 – 05:00.

Drivers will make between 1-3 deliveries per day, primarily of cages from a tail lift, so a certain amount of physical work will be required.

Ideally our partner client would like drivers with 12 months HGV C+E experience, however they are willing to work with drivers with less experience on a case by case basis.

Average shifts will be around 12 hours a day.

Pay Rates change throughout the day but it will be:

£17.18 per hour for all hours worked between 06:00-16:00

£18.89 per hour between 16:00 -22:00

£20.61 per hour between 22:00-06:00

Qualifications

  • A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver

  • Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues
  • Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
  • Use GPS or maps to find the best routes
  • Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct address
  • Communicate politely with customers
  • Report delays, accidents, or problems to your manager
