The Best Connection is proud to be partnering with DIY Kitchens, one of the UK's leading kitchen manufacturers, to recruit experienced Class 1 (C+E) Trunking Day Drivers for an exciting temp to perm opportunity based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25).
Following recent new ownership, DIY Kitchens continues to invest in its people, fleet, and future, making this an excellent time to join a highly successful and growing business.
This role offers a regular trunking route to a Distribution Centre in Oxford, providing a stable Monday to Friday schedule, modern equipment, and excellent earning potential.
What's on Offer?
- £18.00 per hour
- Time and one-third paid after 40 hours
- Permanent, full-time position after 12 weeks
- Monday to Friday working pattern

The Role
- Operating Class 1 (C+E) Wagon & Drag vehicles
- Delivering products using demountable box systems
- Completing daily vehicle checks and transport documentation
- Adhering to all safety, compliance, and driving regulations
- Providing a professional and reliable service at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- A minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience is preferred
- Previous experience operating Wagon & Drag equipment
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Professional, dependable, and safety-conscious approach
