The Role
This role is Class 1 HGV Day Trunking using wagon and drag equipment with drawbar trailer and de‑mountable boxes.
Day work Monday to Friday. Start times can vary slightly depending on factory/Manufacturing output but usually 06.00. Flexibility is required with this as starts can be delayed to 10.00 or so if Manufacturing has delayed production.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Either wagon and drag with drawbar experience or a willingness to learn
- Either de‑mountable box experience or a willingness to learn.
- Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Preferred:
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
- Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
You’ll be reliable, professional, flexible and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
