The Best Connection are currently looking for an HGV Cat C drivers to work for our client based in Fair Oak. New Pass Drivers Welcome. The job has NO heavy lifting. It is Monday to Friday with a guaranteed 10 hour daily pay. The annual salary is £37,800 basic plus overtime after 10 hours at £19.32 per hour. Some Tipper experience would be good but not essential. Training is provided.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • The normal working week is Monday to Friday.
  • The standard hours of work are 6.00 AM to 4.00 PM.
  • You will receive full training in all aspects of the job including:
    • All health and safety systems and processes.
    • Work completion methods.
    • Safe systems of work, vehicle and equipment handling.
  • A typical working day will involve driving a Tipper lorry to collect or deliver aggregates and commercial construction waste from quarries or large suppliers of soil, sand, ballast, top soil, etc.
  • The salary is £37,800 for 50 hours a week. Overtime is paid at £19.32 per hour after 10 hours daily.
  • There is an immediate start to the work and subject to successfully completing a 16 week probation, you will be given a permanent position.
  • The company also uses Hiab and other machinery to collect goods and they are happy to train drivers and certificate them to add to their skills.
  • The company will also provide drivers with FORS training.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

  • CPC & DIGI Card.
  • Class 2 experience required but not essential.
  • New Passes welcome.
  • On-site parking.
  • Overtime available.
  • Potential full-time role.
  • No weekends.
