We have a fantastic brand new job opportunity to join a leading manufacturer as a Machine Operative - available immediately on a full time basis! The ideal candidate must be technically minded who thrives in hands on, manual work with previous machinery experience. This is a temporary to permanent position working day shifts. Applicants must note that you need your own transport due to the location of the role.

The Role

  • Set up and operate machinery
  • Monitor production lines to ensure smooth and efficient operation
  • Load raw materials into the machines
  • Perform regular quality checks on finished bags to ensure correct dimensions, handles, and print alignment
  • Package, label, and stack finished products onto pallets for distribution
  • Adhere strictly to all workplace health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workstation

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a machine operative or production operator
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
