The Best Connection are currently recruiting for full time, ongoing Machine Operators / Setters to work at our client's site based in Havant. Temp to perm basis. Working hours vary between 7am - 4pm or 6am - 2pm.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Monitoring and operating engineering machinery.
- Identifying and safely clearing machine jams and blockages.
- Understanding and working with nuts, bolts and mechanical components.
- Adjusting machinery settings to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Carrying out basic mechanical fault finding.
- Ensuring machines are running to required production standards.
- Reporting any mechanical issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Our client are looking for individuals to be with the business on a long term basis. This role would be well suited to individuals interested in a long term role within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided, however previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering setting would be advantageous.
