Our well established client, based in Welham Green, requires Category C & E (HGV Class 1 Drivers) to help its busy operational distribution centre.
AM shifts and PM shifts are available on fixed shifts.
Some manual work involved.
Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience required.
Full training provided and written and driving assessment would need to be taken on site.
Responsibilities
- Store delivery or cross docking
- Store delivery in the South East and greater London
- Inter-depot trunking to other sites
- Direct container collections from ports
- Max 2 stops per day – either 1 run or 1 AM drop and 1 PM drop
- Ensure loads are safe and complete vehicle and trailer checks
- Completion of all delivery paperwork from client to store
- Shifts
- Pattern: Friday to Monday with various ad hoc shifts available
- AM shifts with start times between 05:00 and 19:00
- PM/night shifts with start times between 19:00 and 05:00
- Pay Rates
- Any shift AM 05:00–19:00 (PAYE) £21.40 per hour
- Any shift PM 19:00–05:00 (PAYE) £25.35 per hour
- Bank Holiday £64.19
