We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Porter to join a busy and fast-paced distribution centre in Harlow. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations by ensuring goods are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, works well as part of a team, and thrives in a warehouse environment.

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday (on a rota basis) 6am to 2:30pm

Pay Rate: £13.52 an hour (Tuesday to Saturday) Monday Overtime (when it is the 6th working shift) £20.28

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse using manual handling equipment
  • Assisting with picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Keeping warehouse areas clean, tidy, and hazard-free
  • Supporting stock control and inventory checks
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Assisting colleagues and supervisors with general warehouse duties
  • Ensuring products are stored correctly and securely

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous warehouse or porter experience preferred but not essential
  • Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items safely
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
