The Best Connection has been instructed on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our client's team at their successful site in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This is a full-time, customer-facing role where you will work directly with a large and diverse customer base in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with walk-in enquiries on a regular basis.
- Answer, field and resolve customer queries over the phone and socials.
- Regularly market/advertise new and existing products online through social media channels.
- Ensure that customers feel welcome and have an excellent customer experience through any communication channel.
- Handle transactions which may be Cash or Card payments.
- Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth daily running of the shop.
- Creating and organising jewellery window displays in store.
Candidate Requirements
- Have previous experience within a customer-facing role is desirable; however, previous experience within a customer service role within telecommunications as a minimum is essential.
- Have an active interest in jewellery personally or previous job roles (skills to value jewellery will be taught).
- Ability to converse with a diverse customer base seamlessly.
- Be technology literate and have experience using social media (personal or business).
- Show confidence and accuracy with cash handling.
- Show the ability to integrate into a small team environment but also be able to make independent decisions when required.
