The Best Connection are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable FLT Operatives to join our well-established client based in Gotham.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment with a growing business offering regular hours, competitive rates of pay, and the potential for a permanent position. We have vacancies available on both the morning and afternoon shifts, with successful candidates working a fixed shift rather than a rotating pattern.
Location: Gotham
Pay Rate: £14.16 per hour
Working Hours:
- 06:00 - 14:00 or
- 14:00 - 22:00
Monday to Friday
The Role
As an FLT Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring goods are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a Forklift Truck
- Moving, storing, and locating stock within the warehouse
- Strapping and securing loads for transportation
- Carrying out stock movements and replenishment tasks
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general warehouse duties
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and site regulations
What We're Looking For
- Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance or relevant licence as required)
- Previous experience operating an FLT in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and health & safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to support warehouse operations where required
