About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Operations Agent. This is a primarily office-based role with some light warehouse duties, supporting the smooth running of depot operations and delivering excellent service to both customers and drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Administration (Primary Focus)
- Answering phone calls from customers, drivers, and customer service teams
- Responding to emails and customer queries
- Assisting customers visiting the depot to collect or drop off parcels
- Driver De-briefing
- Collecting driver keys and equipment at end of shift
- Ensuring paperwork is signed and correctly processed
- Updating delivery and collection statuses on internal systems
- Completing end-of-shift reports
- International Shipments
- Reviewing and sorting shipment paperwork
- Matching invoices to the correct consignments
- Processing documentation through scanners for customs clearance
- Liaising with the warehouse to retrieve documents where required
- Completing end-of-shift reports
- Warehouse Support (Approx. 5%)
- Locating parcels for customer collections
- Booking in parcels dropped off by customers
- Relabelling shipments (e.g., redirections or additional information)
