Due to continued growth in business, our client, a leading provider of repair, returns and refurbishment services, is looking to recruit a number of experienced Electrical Testers to work in their busy department.
You’ll be responsible for testing a range of consumer electrical products, ensuring they meet customer quality standards before dispatch.
Key duties include:
- Testing, cleaning and packing consumer electrical products to customer specifications
- Following product-specific work instructions and testing procedures
- Ensuring all accessories, manuals and components are present and correctly packaged
- Carrying out final quality inspections before products are dispatched
- Applying labels and preparing products for safe palletisation and shipment
- Achieving productivity, turnaround and quality targets
- Maintaining clean and organised workstations and storage areas
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience using and maintaining hand tools
- Knowledge of testing and reassembling electrical products
- Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions and processes
- Previous experience in electrical repair (Desirable but not essential)
- Confidence dismantling electrical products and identifying reusable components (Desirable but not essential)
There are the following shifts available, All Monday to Friday:
- 0600 - 1400
- 1400 - 2200
