Temporary Warehouse Assistant / Driver
The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary Warehouse Assistant / Driver based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy warehouse team on a temporary basis while our client recruits for a permanent member of staff.
This is a hands‑on role combining warehouse duties with multi‑drop deliveries when required, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their working day and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30am - 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi‑drop deliveries and collections safely and efficiently as of when required.
- Load and unload vehicles using safe manual handling techniques.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Book in deliveries and replenish warehouse stock.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and relevant driver paperwork.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence with a clean or near‑clean driving record (essential).
- Previous experience in a warehouse and/or delivery driving role.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- A reliable, hardworking attitude with a willingness to support the wider team.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
