Van Drivers required for our busy Ilton based company with immediate starts. Ongoing work until January as a minimum. Delivering to hospitality and stores on set routes. Vehicles pre-loaded.
Location: Ilton, Somerset
Pay Rate: £12.93ph for the first 45hrs. £13.93ph Overtime after 45hrs. £19.39ph for 6th Shift worked in week
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (30-minute unpaid lunch).
The Best Connection are currently seeking a reliable and professional Van Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload cargo securely and carefully
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- Maintain the cleanliness and road worthiness of the van
- Complete all required delivery and vehicle paperwork accurately
- Adhere to traffic laws and all safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a similar delivery or driving role
- Good knowledge of local routes and road safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
