The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Client who is in the market for Class 2 drivers to load and deliver to homes throughout the Central Belt. You will be part of a 2 man team and will have an experienced 2nd man with you. This role is ongoing or if you're just looking for an odd weekend shift. Depots are based in the Glasgow Area and it is a 5 over 7 day role with working hours 7am/8am/11am starts to finish (Pd 8hrs min).
Basic duties will include:
- Loading materials onto vehicle
- Delivering and unloading to various sites including home delivery
- General upkeep of vehicle
- This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness
Requirements:
- Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 2 years experience
- Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Documented work history
- References
- Excellent Customer service skills - Must have a good level of English
- Complete online training at home (Paid)
Benefits:
- Monday to Friday £14.75ph first 8hrs
- £22.12ph after 8hrs
- Saturday £22.12ph
- Sunday £29.50ph
